# How to be eligible to participate?

[Consensus ](https://snapshot.org/#/iggold.eth/proposal/0xc19b375451046011f300f9569aa240aa4e3d37a388c57284c7d32684a1d21cc9)is that the minimum amount to participate in IGGalaxy governance is <mark style="color:orange;">**500,000**</mark> ORBs. Holders of one GFT are also able to partake in voting and submit proposals that will then be reviewed.

We allow anyone with a minimum of 10,000 ORB to join the discussions in our Discord, this means that these holders can steer and contribute actively with their voice in order to present their arguments so that those who can vote are able to represent them and make informed decisions with the greater good in mind.
